Dear Friends of St. Vincent School.
Welcome to our website! I’m appreciative of your interest in St. Vincent School, and know you will discover the many unique qualities of our school as you browse these pages. We are a welcoming and loving community, providing a values-based education and grounded in our schools’ Vincentian charism of service. Our focus on service, to all in need, is reflected in our recently revised Mission statement:St Vincent School, in partnership with parents, will provide a transformative education embodying the Vincentian Charism of Service, to foster curious and resilient learners.
St. Vincent School recognizes that each child is unique in God’s plan, possessing individual gifts and talents. We respect and nurture individual differences, while developing each student to his or her highest potential. Our Vincentian experience of faith and service helps students develop a deep love for God, and an appreciation for our patron saint: St. Vincent de Paul, who was also an advocate of education.
St. Vincent Schools’ curriculum provides experiential learning opportunities for students to grow spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and personally. All year long, we offer many extracurricular activities for students, including those which allow students to express their gifts. In addition, students and their families have access to support programs for their health and wellbeing.
We consider St. Vincent School home – a place where people lend strength and support to each other. We believe in offering opportunities for personal and spiritual growth to everyone, and thrive on an atmosphere of exceptional teaching and learning. Please come and see for yourself! I invite you to contact our office at (213) 748-5307 Ext. 160, to arrange a tour of our school or for any additional questions.
On behalf of the St. Vincent School family, thank you for visiting our website. I look forward to speaking with you. Please visit soon.
