The bell rings at 8:00 A.M. Anyone that arrives after the bell rings will be marked as “TARDY”. Regular school day ends at 2:45 P.M. for grades TK – 8th. On days that there is early dismissal (ex: Faculty Meeting Fridays dismissal is at 12:30 P.M) parents need to make arrangements for their child/ren to be picked-up so they do not stay on the school grounds for more than 15 minutes after dismissal. Parents or a trusted adult must sign out the child at dismissal time in their classroom.

The extended day care program is for St. Vincent School students in grades TK-8th of working parents who do not have a suitable adult to care for them after school.

BREAKFAST/LUNCH PROGRAM
The school participates in the Government Food Program. The price of breakfast and lunch, free or reduced-price meals, is determined by the family’s annual salary and government guidelines. Milk is included. LUNCH/BREAKFAST MONEY: lunch/breakfast or other money is to be sent to school in an envelope marked with the child’s name and grade, the amount, and the purpose of the money. All financial responsibilities must be kept current. Times for Recess and Lunch will be revised/announced before the 2023-2024 school year starts.
Our Mission at St. Vincent School is to work in partnership with parents. Together with our parents we form a partnership in child(ren)’s education journey. We ask for a commitment from ALL our parents to FULLY participate at SVS. Our SVS Parent Participation Program is as follows:
SERVICE HOURS
Each family is asked to contribute Thirty (30) hours of service per school year. Please note that if you or any other adult is volunteering with children you will be required to have the following: Updated Virtus Training Certificate and fingerprints. You must present all documentation prior to volunteering.
Parents MUST attend ALL meetings called by the Principal, Teacher or Parent Board. There will be no exceptions. One Service Hour per family will be given for attending. Parents MUST use the Exit Ticket at the end of the meeting for attendance. A $20.00 fee will be charged via TADS for not attending meetings and the Parent-Teacher Conferences in the 1st Trimester and 2nd Trimester (as needed).
